Any aussie physios working in New York?

I was hoping to hear from any aussie physios that are working in New York please?

Did you go through an agency or find work on your own?

So far I have got the FCCPT to verify my documents and they are now sending them to the New York State board for evaluation.

Did you have any dramas with the E3 visa? I know they only allow you to enter the country 10 days prior to your job starting- was this a problem at all?

Would love to hear from you and and advice you may have.

I am looking at moving to NY early next year to work also. I am currently a registered physio in Melb, Aust and have been working for 3 years. I am asking the same questions as you, as to whether need an agency or can just organise work on your own. Would really appreciate it if you could fill me in on what you have found out so far.
