loss of hot/cold sensation and pinwheel...treatment options?

hi all,
i have a 11yr old male with L4/L5 plexus injury giving motor deficits in right leg and loss of hot/cold/pinwheel sensation in left leg. after 6 wks of care the motor deficits are resolved but the sensory is only 40% improved. i have used spinal/extremity mobilization, cold laser therapy, balance/strength exercises, ice/heat, and anti-inflamm.

does anyone know of other treatment options to assist with his sensory recovery?
