Is there physio work in the UK????

Anyone have any recent experience in the UK Job market for locum work? I have just about 3 years experience and the 2 locum agencies I have spoken to said there has been a positive shift in the work available. I was wanting to go to the UK about 1 year ago but I decided to wait..wisely I think. Any info would be appreciated!

I am a Registered Physiotherapist from the US, recent graduate with my Doctorate degree, looking for work in central london. I have a dependent work visa for 2 years and am seeking sports/private practice work. IS there any reason to keep searching in these fields or should I just go ahead and apply to the NHS?
