can anybody upgrade my information about this matter. up to where the things gone till now in indian physio council to be made
its glad to see somebody to come forward on this issue,
i am bhavan from india and in last year of bpt and i think people over here is quite understanding the need and they are giving the reputation its as ant mbbs or other health service people.
but i am unhappy on the issue that in india people are not in touch of manipulation that much as the other abroad people have because each and every college in india having the basic concept about the use of electrothepay but not the manipulation.
second thing in india physiotherapist is not community advance it as in abroad country adn the world organization is also not willing to do som uch worl over here . example is that who's most cbr people are from india but in india no much devlopement.
I am still in final year and boy,be sure we can gather hell lot of people for rallies and stuff. We as a student not sure what is suppose to be done on organisational skills but thats what situation is demanding. We need to work along with IAP and we need hell-bent support from it. It seems this will be long process but we need to take a step towards it. What happened about taking this issue to World confederation of physiotherapist which physiodude advised? Please inform me what we as students can do,we will discuss this and if any idea sparks up,we'll lend it here right a way. There will be more members to this group, thats all i will do it for now.
Hello Sharma,
Hope the numerous views would have given you the start to formulate an action plan. If not please begin, at least a rough sketch of how you intend to move forward & post in the forum. You can be assured of our support to refine the proposal & set you on track.
From your comments, I infer that your priority is to organize a mass rally in all states of India & thereby pressurize the government to take a glance at our profession. Well that's fair enough, but you need to represent the physio community with a neat set of demands & policy amendments. Get working on them too & of course don't forget your frequent reminders to the forum to join the bandwagon. Its been missing lately :D
Best of luck.
dear friends i dont want a action which is not effective.so i just want a large gathering and a protest all over country. so plz make other physioz join this group.
thanks.

Hi there
I am not an Indian physio but I find your enthusiasm and initiative great.
I just wondered if it would help you to find some help from other international associations (for example health professional council in England? or Chartered Society of Physiotherapists). The Indian physios here in the uk might be able to get in contact with the HPC or CSP and get some support, some advice from them. Plus it might be of advantage if you can show your Indian politicians that you have strong international partnerships and that your aim is to reach international standards. I would have have thought that India is keen to compete internationally- so hit the politicians with their pride and point out that Indian Physios otherwise will lack of quality in international comparism.
just a thought
good luck...
Annette
anybody can help me with usualquestions usually asked for IAP exam?please
how many of u are members of IAP here & have u attended the GB Meeting of IAP?
arkesh, none of them seem to have even attended a single annual conference let alone the GB meeting. Empty vessels make the most sound. Some of these who have been shouting hoarse will not even make it here, in their country of origin and to even think of trying their mite on the international arena !!! They just are not on level ground. Well I guess everyone has black sheeps in the family. I guess these are India's.
hello sir,
here is a new member an undergraduate student of third year n i also want to join association n i wil inform to my all friends n we will help u whenever u need us. just let me know how to join your group.
thanks.
regards from zarana upadhyay.
I also forward my support from Kota [ RAJASTHAN ]. I am a practicing physio , a graduate from MGM Medical college [Indore]. Practcing since last 3 yrs. Ask for any help needed.
ya, we indians need seperate conncil and lift the standered of our profession.
i am sure all the physiotherapists in india will be with along side each other, wen the question of forming a council is actually and repeatedly put up !!!!!!! and that would mean major initiatives from the senior members of the association to the IMC or the govt.
i kno tht its been tried once but i m sorry to say tht i m not aware of the consequence or if there was any????????????????????????
i wonder if all the physios in india are part of the association???? cz sorry to say there are many who practice without the need to be a member of their community i.e the IAP.
