The next point that needs to be attention is the size of the child's head. Does the child have a shunt - and is the hydrocephalus under control

And before we even start to consider assessing function and participation, we need to know about the child's family - who cares for the child, what are their resources, how can we involve them in decision making, what information do they need to help them participate fully in the child's rehabilitation.
