Falls during physical therapy
I recently had to assist a resident to the floor during a standing activity with contact guard assistance secondary to not reaching back before descending, a task we've been working on. In the physiotherapy world, is this considered a fall or fall recovery? Thanks for your help.
Re: Falls during physical therapy
I asked my doctor about it and he said it's called fall recovery.

Thanks Kelcie, I've been recording as fall recovery. I'm a new PTA and was told to fill out incident report as fall then another therapist advised not considered a fall due to resident being in therapy.
