    Massage Table

    Taping
    Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knew if physiotherapy tables have different shapes/requirements for males/females ?? and do Sports Physios use different tables for different sports ??

    any comments would be awesome

    does anyone own a portable massage table??
    If yes, is there any difference in massaging a women to a man? when it comes to tables??

    Yes I have an excellent portable table and no there is no difference required in table dimensions etc between male and female. But for massage you do want a fairly thick layer of foam on the top that is soft enough to comfortably accommodate larger breasted women.

    A separate removable head piece is also useful as this lets you add some length to the table to the taller clients.

    Mine is a portable Master Couch almost exactly the same as the one in this link. It cost about the same as well and I got it in black with darker legs and a bolster as well. It is very sturdy and can be setup in about 5 seconds which is great.

    I have one portable massage table.But its weight is very high.Can any one tell me what type of tables will available with less weight and have to be comfortable.
