Hey everyone, I have a question regarding ultrasound therapy. Is it safe to perform ultrasound therapy at 3MHz and 3W/cm2 on the temporomandibular joint and in between the tragus of ear and zygomatic process for about 5min? What are the risks involved? Can it burn the joint or tissue? Can it damage hearing and the inner ear structures because it is close to the ear? What are the dangers?
