HI,
I have got visible tattoos - if I chose to show them. Mine can be hidden quite easily.
I think it all depends on your uniform and professional standard policy. Your work one - and the one of your professional body.
At my workplace, visible tattoos have to be discussed the Clinic Manager; and you might be asked to cover them. One person in our work place has to wear long trousers as the tattoo is deemed offensive to clients.
