Hello Physiotherapists,
I am the administrator for the forthcoming Sarah Key 'Problem Backs Masterclass' in Gloucestershire in March 07.

This is one of only two opportunities this year in the UK to learn Sarah's back care techniques. I can vouch for their efficacy as I am a former patient of hers. I suffered incapacitating backpain for over 7 years before I met Sarah.

Her course covers her theory of the 'Five Stages of Spinal Breakdown' and has a cutting edge evidence base which she shares with you. Sarah’s unique method of mobilising a ‘stiff spinal segment’ (the very commonplace ‘first phase’ in the progression) is followed by spinal decompression classes to introduce pressure changes through ailing spinal segments and make immediate use of segmental freedom gained. Her method of using the heel of the foot to mobilise, results in segments being liberated much more effectively; less effort for the therapist and much more comfortable for the patient. In short, mobilising the spine with the heel provides a kinder instrument to transmit greater forces, and prolongs the professional life of overworked therapists.
