Re: thumb repair.....now pain around radial styloid process.radial collateral...

    hi friends
first and foremost thing i would like to know the reason for thumb repair, what sort of repair, any associated trauma.
    the pain can be sclerotomic
if the pain extends up the arm then neural involvement should be suspected.how is upper limb tension test-median nerve bias?

What was the original trauma? Could be a small fracture? perhaps an avulsion injury. Have they had any investigations?
