Deep Brain Stimulation - for Parkinson's disease

    Dear all....
I'm working on DBS programme. My tasks as physio involve all the procedure: pre-op evaluation and screening, peri-op patient support, post-op stimulator set up. please is there anyone of you that is having the same experience? I would like to share my impression on these topics..
    Thanks

    Hi,
What is DBS in the first place? Is it anything like trancerebral electrical stimulation?

    Re: deep brain stimulation

yes if you like .... anyway, it means deep brain stimulation and it is a surgery practice for complicated Parkinson disease cases. It consists of implanting an electric stimulator in the sub-talamic nucleus.
