Hi there,
I'm new to stroke rehab and have a new patient with bilateral nil senation or proprioception below the shoulder caused by vasculitis (which dr says won't get better)
I'm basically looking for advice how to manage her, is she remedial with these deficits, I'm a bit of a rut here.
She can follow commands but has mild cognitive issues (short-term memory deficits
She also has issues with her feet below ankles but has proprioception on ankles.
She currently cannot feed herself, use her hands to sit-stand (which is a bit risky) or write.
She has mild anxiety because of this.
Hope this is enough info,
any tips at all would be great,
feel a bit out of my depth here!
Thanks!
