    Cervical fusion

I need some treatment advice for patient's s/p cervical fusion. I am a recent grad and I have had a hand full of patients with complications following cervical fusion from continued neurological problem in UE to pain in posterior cervical and shoulder region and decrease ROM. I was wondering if anyone had treatment approachs to help with these patients. I try strengthening technique from chin tucks to AROM exercise, scapular retraction, Sh strengthening etc. I do see minimal improvement with my s/p cervical fusion patients but I feel as though I am fighting a battle I may not win. If any one has advice on techniques or modalities that I may use please let me know. I have perform Soft tissue mobilization but it does not last. Patient return with same tightness and pain as prior tx. I know fusion of vertebrae will alter mm ability to work secondary to 2 or more vertebrae immoblized and vertabrae above and below the fusion will have increased movement. I just need advice and help to treat this population of patients
