I am a PT 2 months S/P TKA. Had hemarthrosis of the knee immediately post op with resultant delayed rehab due to the significant knee effusion of blood which did not resolve with attempted aspiration of the knee. Have achieved 102 degrees flexion (with diligent PT in clinic and at home) and full extension with resolution of minor quad lag. Surgeon wants to perform a manip. and has no concerns about the procedure. I am concerned about the possibility of recurrent hemarthrosis with a manip. under anesthesia and looking for alternative approaches to get to minimum of 120 degrees knee flexion. Also, I am curious if anybody knows anything about a device called the X10. Sounds too good to be true re: claims for attaining full functional knee mobility. Any knowledgeable input is appreciated. Thank You.
