    Pelvic Movement

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    Hi,
Iam treating an Elderly Gentleman whose mobility has gradually reduced in the last 2 years.I found his pelvic girdle to be fixed with negligible movements
    he presents with ,
    Decresed trunk stability posteriorly.
Inability to stand upright even with full support due to a stooped pelvic girdle.
Gradual loss of weight and decreased muscle mass around pelvis and abdomen.
Apart from this there is no loss in muscle power and has grade 5 in all 4 limbs.
I wonder what actually is wrong here, there is no formal diagnosis until now.
Any suggestions would be very much Appreciated.

    Re: Pelvic Movement

Well, I couldn't give any diagnosis to your client, however, the pelvic (Wikipedia reference-linkSIJ) is almost fused in 40 in male and around 60 in female. I therefore wouldn't think mobility is the major problem of your client. Otherwise, other elderly would also present the same symptoms. By the way, I rather have your client to have medical checkup coz he/she 's keeping losing wieght

    hi dude
with this limited data you can't come to any diagnosis.as suggested xray and other diagnostive tests should be done.for the same the person should consult a physician
