    Sounds like your physio is onto it. provided you have a achilles tendinopathy
    "Alfredson et al 1998" is the referance - 3sets of 15 repititions 2 times a day 7 days a week with knee bent and straight.
    The article showed all patients in the study returned to sport in 12 weeks following that protocol.
    For the names of the exercises - knee bent is eccentric soleus and straight is eccentric gastrocnemius

    it's my left achilles tendon,

    been told it is tendonitis, or is it spelt tendonitous, sorry if spelt wrong

    been doing calf stretches in a few/ several ways, but since been given this particular exersise, it doesnt seem to be as tight (stiff in the calf and heel area) still getting the burning feeling tho in the heel and the left side of my left leg/ side of the calf!
