Hi Nick65, could you give us a bit more background here on what your issues area: history, why they have 'removed' your knee caps? This is most unusual although I have seen this once before when working with the Navy Seals. One might ask about the option for a patella resurfacing if it is the knee caps that are the issue. Also any chance to upload any images of your legs in standing from the front, back and side (use the 'Go Advanced' reply to add attachments).

A therapist needs to assess where in the lower limb the rotation is occurring before people can advise what may assist. This could be at the lumbar spine, pelvis/hip, rotation in the femur, instability in the knee joint (if there are no knee caps), rotation in the tibia, collapse (over pronation) of the feet etc.
