Hip, Groin, Pelvis - Anterior - Right
Hi there folks,
Just wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I've been having some issues with my right groin on walking after sitting. My Physio did a hip impingement test which was positive. My x-ray and MRI shows very mild arthritis and my consultant in orthopaedics say that I'm on the road for a hip replacement but I'm not old enough (41 years old) and bad enough yet. A steroid injection has been offered but may or may not help.
I feel like my leg needs to be pulled out the socket to relieve the pain and I'm at a loss with what to do now. I struggle to take my leg from the centre out to the side as it gets to a certain point and is agony and I have to bring my leg back to centre using my hand. I stretch my flexors, quads and abductors?! But with no improvement.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
PS stairs and cycling and first thing in the morning is all fine but only kicks in after sitting.
