I have a problem with scar tissue in my thigh (61 year old cyclist) that I have not been able to break down through self massage. I have purchased a roller and seen on youtube how to use such a device. What I would like advice on is how long and how many times per day/week should I use the roller to help break down the scarring. I understand this could be painful but I'm afraid of over doing the roller. Any advice appreciated.
