Major problem / Symptomatic Areas
Wrist, Hand - Posterior - Left
28 days ago FOOSH (Fell on outstretched hand)
possibly angular fall (stepping around someone)
Pain on dorsal aspect radial side
TOP lunate from dorsal side
2x NAD xrays 11 days apart
Aw MRI results (due next week)
Pain pattern from wrist into median nerve pattern
pain ++ with radial dev
now in a caste- phenomenal pain 8/10
only eases if I DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (FOR 3 DAYS SOLID)
worried about scaphoid fracture (that did.t show up in xrays)
more worried about potential ligament (Scapho-lunate in particular) injuries
definitely some kindof neuropraxia going on
my question: is the medial nerve more likely to be irritated following g a ligament injury or a scaphoid fracture (or is everything too close together to tell?)
