    Hello

I'm working as a physiotheraphist in India and I'm planning to get some jobs in USA. Can anyone tell me the procedures or exams that I have to take to work in USA.

I heard that we have to take TOFEL exam and get some Indian license before you come to USA. Later after you reach USA, you can start preparing the NPTE exam. Is this true?

    I'm confused...please someone clarify.

    Thanks!!!

HI physiob, firstly you should learn to use the search feature on this section of the board, for say a simple term like work in the usa, or NPTE. This question has been asked many times and there are already some useful answers. Try to get involved in an existing thread rather than starting a new one.

    best of luck 8o

Thanks for the reply. I searched all the listings and finally posted this thread. In most of the threads, they have described about the NPTE but none talked about the TOFEL or the procedures to come to USA.

I know that we have to take NPTE but I heard that we need TOFEL and get some license in India to work in USA temporarily for 18 months. Hearing all these comments, I'm kind of confused and don't know the exact procedure.

I'm on my way to process H1B visa to California with help of my friends company.

So for everyone's sake (especially mine), can someone post the detailed procedure.
