    Volunteering abroad

    Hi guys,

I am a 3rd year physio student and am interested in volunteering abroad this summer in a physiotherapy/medical setting. I would be eager to working in any country- Africa, Asia, S./Central America...I'm open minded!

Has anyone done this before? Or is anyone planning on doing this same thing this summer?

If you have some tips or advice for me I'd be very grateful!!

    Thanks :-)

    Re: Volunteering abroad

    hey,

last year for my elective placement i went abroad to Ghana, it cost a bit... but the experience was def worth it... not only did i do physio out there but also helped out at the orphanage, visited the materity clinic and much more.

    i went with gapsports...

    - GAP SPORTS - Sports travel, gap years, career breaks and sports volunteering abroad. Adventure travel holidays with sports courses, coaching placements, volunteer projects and adventure tours.

    i hope this is helpful.
    good luck

    nima
