    Working in Canada!

    I understand there is much frustration with the expensive and long process of working in Canada. I would luv to hear some positive experiences for a change..

    Health care is quite unstable, but there are so many jobs across canada, employers don't even advertise b/c they have trouble finding anyone. With private practice, direct access 3rd party payers, being a PT right now you can negogiate salaries, education, whatever you want. Baby boomers are getting older and our provincal budget just came in and they put more money into health care, where others were cut. Look inside the Orthopaedic Divisions journal and you will find numerous postings for jobs across Canada. However, the examination process is long and expensive. But there are plenty of jobs out there, for now. Canadian PT
