    upper thigh muscles seize or pull during sprinting

    last october 2010 i pulled a muscle in my thigh from sprinting during rugby training, i couldnt walk for a day or two after that, after a while it felt ok, so i went bk training but it happened again. since then i havent sprinted, but i have been running(not sprinting), cycling and doing squats in the gym with no problems, iv been bk training the last 2 weeks and today while i was sprinting it happened again. what have i pulled n how can it be treated is physio the only way, the reason i havnt been so far is im a student and money is tight. HELP its doing my head in

    It sounds to me like you have a little more going on than a pulled muscle. Possibly a torn muscle, or tendon. You should speak to your doctor about this, and see if he can get to the bottom of it. It is quite possible that you will require some physical therapy. You won't know for sure until you get it checked out.
