    Hi

You'll need to give more info on foot shape, type, running style etc.

    This may be of help:

    Re: Running shoes

Has anyone tried the Vibram FiveFingers? I have been reading up on barefoot running and I am thinking about started to walk barefoot. I need some protection which is why I would buy the FiveFingers, but they are supposed to give you the same benefits of walking barefoot without putting yourself at risk of serious injury. if you havent seen the fivefingers yet, check out this page i found about them - FiveFingerFootwear.com FAQ

    Re: Running shoes

It depends on all kinds of factors - your running style, the distances involved, the terrain that you're running over, etc. I have different shoes for road and fell (hill) running.

    Re: Running shoes

I have learnt the hard way the importance of buying the right pair of running shoes. After several injuries, I have finally found the right pair of running shoes !

    Re: Running shoes

You need to go to a proper running shop where they can analyse your running style.

    Re: Running shoes

    hey Che!
I used to run on track for few years and our trainer told us that Brooks are the best shoes for running. Just make sure that you are comfortable and the shoes might not be tight near your thumb.

Im currently running in these and their by far the best thing i've ever run in. I used to invert my right ankle 2-3 times over a few miles run, sometimes more on uneven terrain, i've not done it once since wearing these. I wholeheartedly recommend them. They change your technique completely as well and give you a much better running style. Its impossible to heel strike in them, if you have that tendency (it really hurts when you try!)

A lot of people sniff at the evidence for barefoot running, and i agree that its a little limited, but you cant argue with the amount of people who are saying the same things. Running forums are littered with similar stories. QUite a pricey shoe but totally worth it
