Hi guys, once more I am in need of your help.
So I am now working in Australia as a physio with AHPRA registration on an e457 visa.
However....I want to apply for a skilled independent visa and the DIAC require a skills assessment from the Australian Physio Council.
My predicament is which form I need to fill in! It's not very well explained and despite emailing them I only get copied text from their website as a response.
The options are 1) if you do not require the DIAC to consider your skilled employment for the purpose of awarding points and 2) if you do require the DIAC to consider your skilled employment for the purpose of awarding points.
Obviously its a skilled visa based on my profession so would this be the second option?
Points wise I get Age 30p, English language (will do the IELTS test to gain 10 or 20 points even though I'm English), skilled employment over seas 5p, Educational qualifications 15p...all of which add up to at least 60 points so I have my points there.
If anyone has come across this before and can shine any light on the matter it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Soph

Hi Sophie,
I am currently in Australia and trying to figure out how to apply for the skilled independent as I would like to stay with my current employer for more than the six months. I was wondering whether you have had any luck with this visa yet?
Thanks.
