Hello! I'm currently half way through my masters in the UK (pre-reg). It's been accepted as an equivalent qualification in australia and I'm a citizen so I'm quite hopeful to get over shortly after graduating to start work. I'd like to specialize in sports musculoskeletal physiotherapy, obviously I'll know very little so I'm really keen to get some good training. In the UK I would probably get a static MSK position in the NHS for a year or so for the experience before going private. Does anyone know of any good pathways for a wannabe MSK physio in Australia? For example, in public hospitals do they allow juniors to enter static positions in MSK or do you have to do a rotation. Alternatively are private companies known to take on juniors and provide training? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
