You need to apply first to a state for a PT license.
Then follow the instructions given in the application packet
and follow the instructuctions for credentiasls evaluation
given therein.

General education credits - these detais can be had from
www.fsbpt.org site and search for CWT-5 and download it.
This is the tool with which FCCPT evaluates your credentials.
You will find the subjects & credits required.

Hi,

Thank you very much for that website...m goiong to use it a lot. But m still confuse when u said u have to decide state first then apply for credential but i have already applied for credential and have not decided state.fccpt did not ask me for any state confirmation. m going to take clep examsdid u give any clep exams for yr general credits? Every state in US , has a Physical therapy Board or committee
which is responsible for Licensing Physical Therapists to practise
in their respective states.They have they have their own choice of
credentials evaluation procedures.Some make their own & some get the
services of agencies like FCCPT.So,normally , you should make up your
mind about the state,where you are willing to work & start applying for
license with that state's Physical therapy Board, and fullfil their requirements
mentioned in the application form.you can also ask them for the required
general education credits needed to qualify.If FCCPT is one of the agencies
authorised by the PT Board of that state , then you may have to request
FCCPT to do the evaluation specific for that state & ask them to forward their
copy to that . But when you applied for FCCPT evaluation you must have made
the choice about this.

Thank you for your help full reply.but i dnt knw anything abt usa job market.do u suggest any particular state where i can find it easy and do u have list of agencies which gives a job ..?if u have it then can u please let me knw as i want to decide now as soon as possible.i did not know about states got it clear when u explained.
