    decreased Sa02

What are the physiological effects of decreased oxygen saturations on the patient?
    Thanks

decreased oxygenation of all tissues and organs... they won't work as efficiently. i'm sure you can work out what that means for things like the brain and other organs.

decreased sao2 in patient has a lot of consequeces
1 there will generalised vasodilatation of the blood vessels if the patient has haemorhagic cva more bleeding can occur in the brain
2 there will be consequent hyperventilation which can lead to bronhoconstriction-very dangerous in ashmatic patients
