Active Cycle of Breathing Techniques

Please can somebody tell how can you modify A.C.B.T for
(a) a very productive patient,
(b) a breathless patient,
(c) a patient with atelectasis?
Finally What other techniques could you combine with the ACBT?

a. for very productive pt can use ACBT with postural drinage position

b. breathless patient more emphasis on breath control technique in relaxation position

c. patient with atelectasis concentrate on lung expansion exercises


its all basically about the cycle of ex with particular time period .we can modify the time period according to the patient requirements.



all the chest manipulative techniques can be combined with ACBT if that patient does not have dyspnea.
