or Restless Leg Syndrome. Any clues on how to treat ? I have one but it is so bizarre that most scientists among us would scoff. Being a sufferer, I can attest to the efficacy of this approach. If anyone is interested, you can email me at [email protected] You will not regret the remedy I am proposing.

this is very common in pregnant women and some of them have found relief by taking extra vitamin B6 and also doing plenty of stretches and leg exercises during the day. It does seem in some people to be hormone balance related ie is often worse in women when they are premenstrual or pregnant. but what causes it in men I have no idea
hi
please add it to forum,
it'll be useful for all.
I have worked extensively for many years on the treatment of nocturnal cramps or Restless Leg Syndrome(RLS) and have come to the conclusion that the majority (not all) are caused by neuropraxia of the common peroneal nerve as it winds around the head of fibula. This, in turn, may be caused by an L5 lesion or a repetitive lateral ankle strain causing weakness in the ankle everters.
It can be remedied by mobilising the head of fibula, either by finger pressure (as in Maitland) or by Impact Therapy (IT) with the use of small sand and seed bags. Acupuncture/acupressure along the gall bladder meridian will also help.
