I'm pretty new to this site so I hope I'm posting to the correct location..

My mum suffers with Plantar Fascitiis, she has bad flare ups quite often. She did have physio on it a few years ago, but now I just massage and stretch the area regularly.. any other suggestions..?? She's adamant on still wearing flip flops throughout the summer - every day. Which is what often causes the flare ups. However, as winter is drawing ever closer, she's looking to invest in a new pair of trainers. She has seen Skechers Trainers, claming to tone this and trim that... But do they actually work????

She purchased "fit flops" in the summer in an attempt to settle the condition, but only seemed to make it worse.

I just wanted to know whether anyone has had any experience with them, be it good or bad. I'm wondering if they help to tone certain areas whether other parts of the lower limb are going to suffer.

Any comments welcome.
