These are a series of questions directed at physios, OTs, dentists and perhaps GPs who are in private practice in Australia.

Context. I have sufficient capital to buy a practice outright. However, I don't really want to work full time (ie 50 hours a week) as a physio. I've done a range of other work, and want to continue to mix up physio, as an owner, (say for 25 hours a week) with tertiary teaching and consulting work.

Further, my interest is in working in a multidisciplinary clinic with GPs, psychologists, OTs etc rather than in an old school stand alone physiotherapy clinic.

I've been looking at buying practices for a while. Most practices seem to be stand alone old school physio practices.

My questions are these:
a. Have other visitors to these forums any pointers as to where multidisciplinary financial partnerships are offered? (eg physios, with GPs, psychologists etc)?
b. Does anyone have experience of buying into, or allowing other disciplines into a multidisciplinary clinical partnership?
c. Does anyone have experience of expanding a solo discipline practice to include additional disciplines?

Any assistance /advice much appreciated.
