Major problem / Symptomatic Areas
Lumbar, Spine - Posterior
Hi everyone,
Today I didn't have school. So, I decided to do something productive. I woke up at 11 AM and went jogging for 30 minutes. After I came home, I took care of my sick mom.
I did some cooking and went outside to sweep the garden. I was moving the garden pots to another area. I lifted it up to move it by the front door and almost dropped it, but I picked it back up and finished moving it.
Suddenly, I felt an excruciating pain in my lower back. I took painkillers and put some ice pack on my back. The pain is sharp when I sit up or try to walk.
I cannot tolerate this any longer and is planning to visit a clinic which provides massage therapy services in Toronto. Any ideas how to help with the pain? What do you think I should do?

Hi, the best position for relief is lying on your belly with the ice pack on your lower back, for at least 30min. Don't force yourself for 48'hours, but don't stop moving. Just don't carry weights, for example.
If it stills hurts, then go and see a physiotherapist. Good recovery!
