    LUMBAR TRACTION

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
I'm currently reviewing the literature re lumbar traction with a view to developing guidelines for treatment. Does anyone have an evidence - based protocol in use in their dept ?

    Re: LUMBAR TRACTION

I am currently working as a teaching assistant at a local university for the DPT Spine course. A great, up to date resource that we reference for lecture + lab is the APTA's (American Physical Therapy Association) Orthopedic Section's Current Concepts of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (2nd Edition) Independent Study Course titled "The Lumbar Spine: PT Patient Management Utilizing Current Evidence" by Julie Fritz. I believe a 3rd Edition came out in the last month or so, but the 2nd edition I possess has some valuable information about lumbar tractions role in treating LBP.
