check out david butlers book 'the sensitive nervous system'. this is the holy grail of neural mobilisation and neurodynamics.
on a basic note though if a patient with sciatica has positive neurodynamic tests i.e slump/slr you can treat this by getting the nerve moving......they love a bit of gentle movement.......whether this be by mobilisation of joints, soft tissues near the nerve or through exercise its up to you to reason that on the best available evidence!
