    Smile Average time of recovery

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
    Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you could tell me what the average recovery time of a shoulder resurfacing is? My patient is in her 70s and only has 90 degrees flexion and 60 degrees abduction after about five sessions of physiotherapy. After these ranges, the patient has pain within the joint and there is a soft end-feel.

I have tried accessory and physiological movements along with standard stretches and postural work but I am confused as to what may be causing the restriction of movement. Any ideas/suggestions are most welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

    Zimmith

    Re: Average time of recovery

    Hi Zimmith,

We recommend you consider a course of electrotherapy treatment of three to four episodes each of 45 minutes duration. We would expect that this would achieve a substantial improvement in range of motion and pain reduction. We are Neurocare Europe Limited, a U.K. manufacturer of muscle stimulation devices. Our device has been used in the U.S.A. for over 18 years with particular indications in exactly this field. Our website www.neurocareeuropelimited.com
