Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy for Supraspintaus Muscle/Tendon healing

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
    Hey Everybody

i have been trying to do some research and find if Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy will help in healing a partially torn supraspinatus tendon.

So far i can only find research saying that PRP helps following arthroscopy and rotator cuff repair. What i want to know is would it help heal a tear without surgical intervention.

If anyone has any experience with patients that have had this treatment or know of any studies i can read it would be much appreciated

    thanks

I could be wrong, but I believe it can be done outside of surgery. I've had it done on both shoulders. I had rotator cuff repair on both shoulders within 6 months and PRP was done during surgery.
