Hasn't your doctor recommended you strengthening and stretching exercises post treatment?

Hi,
I have been reading quite a bit regarding how people will get increased fatty infiltrates in muscle in (chronic) whiplash. The general consensus of research seems to suggest that it is mainly due to disuse. I was just interested if anyone knew of any evidence whereby they actually compared build up in those who performed specific strengthening exercise post treatment and those who didn't as i am struggling to find any. (I know there is unlikely to be much due to giving exercises being part of the best practice for whiplash rehabilitation) (Majority of studies i have found assume its due to disuse rather than testing).
Thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply. I am not a patient, I am a physio. I was asked about fatty infiltrate build up in an interview and didn't really know much about it so thought I would see whether anyone else knows of any research they could share as I have struggled to find much.
Oh okay. I don't know much, but have came across some link that can help. Check this out.
