Hi all, I am towards the end of my studies in Physiotherapy, and I'm trying to really get a handle on treating stroke patients with hemiplaegia (both acute and post phases).
I would greatly appreciate advice on RECENT evidence-based books containing an in-depth guide to treating these types of patients. Most books I have found are a little out-of-date (Patricia Davies) or tend to be Bobath-centric, despite the fact that a lot of research seems to have come out in the last few years. Has anyone put it all together in a volume?
All I have found is a book by Jan Mehrholz (Physical therapy for the stroke patient) - anyone read it?
