Is a 1 year Masters program recognised in the UAE?

Dear All,

Just wanted to know if a one year Masters program in Neurological Physiotherapy from a Western University is recognised or does one have to do a two years Masters program to get a good placement in UAE ?
As many Western Universities are offering a One year program, I needed advise regarding this matter.

Hi lee, have you ever worked here before as a physio? as far as im concerned, and from what i have observed, a masters is a masters here in the uae. if you have worked here, then you'll understand what i mean.

ofcourse! you get a higher salary because of this. just a tip though... the government hospitals pay way more than the private hospitals. and make sure you either have free housing or an adequate housing allowance together with your contract. good luck!
