    re: re: harrington rods

i dont know what harrington rods are,
i am guessing, if that is the name u have used for #femar rods, they can be removed if so wished, but the ususally they are left there if there are no complaints.
or are theses rods used in spinal stabilisation?, if that is so, i am sory i don't know, but i will be greatful, if you let me know the right answer as well if u find out. Thanks

    re: re: harrington rods

if the patient is able to hold his trunk, can stand in a way that there is no Wikipedia reference-linkscoliosis or other deformity is visible and the muscles, patient's health is well, only then h. rod can be removed after final discussion with the spinal surgeon.
