Anyone with experience with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Can anyone help me with a patient of mine who suffers from ME or chronic fatigue syndrome, anyone with any experience in treating these patients and any new ideas to ease the terrible tiredness!?
More rehabilitation ideas rather than pharmaceutical advances!

Anyone also know any good links for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome info or the like?!?!

I would appreciate any information at all and if you could send me info to [email protected] I would be very grateful!

Try medical journal australia website. About two years ago they produced a fairly thorough management of CFS. Acupuncture based on TCM shows some positive results.

Re: Anyone with experience with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Hi, if you google NICE guidelines there are some for CFS that we use in the UK. I work with these patients every day and there is often more to the problem than just the physical. They need far slower graded exercise than the normal treatment we would offer. They often over do things on good days so they need quite specific physio programmes. It's a very complex area but NICE info should help.
