    Ultrasound

    Hi everyone

    I have a patient with a tibial fracture , he's still in the cast
    My question is : Can we use the pulsed and low intensity ultrasound over the cast or not ?

    What would be the point? The cast would only mainly reflect the waves and what night be conducted through the cast would be distributed to areas not requiring ultrasound.
