Exclamation Re: Rehab protocol for posterior tibial tendon transfer

    Hi there,

    BAPS (Biomechanical Ankle Platform System)

Provides accurate clinically controlled closed chain rehab and conditioning for the lower limb.

The BAPS Board is appropriate for patient populations with "gait disorder" indications. Those includes sports injury, foot and ankle problems, Achilles, knee and Patella-Femoral dysfunctions, quads, hip and even some Sl and low back pain patients. Add to that list those patients who are neuro involved or the so-called "balance disorder" patients. Patients of all ages and activity levels can benefit from the enhanced ROM, strength and proprioception available through a BAPS rehabilitation program.

Benefits: 1."Closed chain" for simultaneous strength, ROM and neuromuscular rehabilitation at multiple joints

2.Resistive weight training capabilities included for strengthening programs or for passive assistance to achieve ROM

3.Appropriate for rehab as well as for functional assessments, pre-activity

    4. Enhances biomechanical ROM and functional neuro-muscular balance
