Major problem / Symptomatic Areas
Wrist, Hand - Posterior - Left
Wrist, Hand - Anterior - Left
Hi Folks,
I managed to fracture my wrist in 2 directions, across the wrist and down towards the hand. I spent 6 weeks in a cast, which was taken off yesterday. my hand/wrist is now very weak..
The physio gave me an exercise leaflet, and showed me the exercises i need do on a regular basis. One of these is the "prayer" exercise. moving the hand forward is possible, my range is limited, but backward into prayer position, my hand simply doesn't want to move that way and trying to do so causes a lot of pain. also the twist gives similar problems, I can twist inwards (palm to floor) with discomfort, but the other direction gives wild pain and the hand doesn't want to go there... Can anyone advise on this?
Thanks in advance..
