    percussion and low platelets in neonates

    Cerebral Palsy In Infancy
    we are interested in finding out if there is a recognised cut off point regarding platelet count in neonates in relation to performing percussion and vibrations

    we dont tend to use active techniques under 100 (perc and vibes) and obvious care with suctioning between 50- 100 platelets.
    Having said this my colleagues in cicu will do a bronchial alveolar lavage with vibes between 50- 100 if requested.
