Hi, I have been to see my GP and an ortho. My GP sent me to the ortho for pain I was having around the knee cap, which has since been fixed via knee surgery.

I also presented pain at the tendons behind both knees, mainly my right one. It is on the inner-most tendon at the back. My GP only sent me to an ortho and the ortho thought that pain was related to the inner-joint pain, so nothing was done.

It is painful when stretching the legs, and the most important part is that I feel it most when forcing myself to slow down from a run/jog.. I hope that bit helps.

Compression seems to alleviate it for a while, but not long. Sometimes when I wake up every step is painful at that point and then the pain will subside.

I think it was caused when I had to run, in big boots, to help someone and as I was slowing down I felt a snapping sensation behind the knee, to one side and I had to hop a bit as I could not continue with the normal stride.

Is there anyone with any ideas? Many thanks!
