    Partially torn hamstring

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
two weeks ago during a football match, i partially tore my right hamstring. the doctor said to give it 2 weeks nd il be good to come back, its been 2 weeks now and i noticed this morning that the swelling as gone and there is a yellowish bruise, today my leg as been sorer than any other day this week i am wondering is this because the swelling as gone and its just a stage of it healing? also i have a match this weekend and really want to make my comeback is there any procautions i can take, are support straps and deep heat a good idea?

thank you if you can help me in anyway

    Re: Partially torn hamstring

    Aircast Airselect Short Boot
    hello getty

in my opinion u need more rist with applying ice 10 min 3 times a day in the site of torn for tow weeks

if u can avoid FWB try it at least one week

after that if the pain decreased u can start strengthening exercises gradually

also doing professional taping will help you

    my advice to u
do not play the mach during this stage

I wish you a speedy recovery

    thanks
